Description
The edding 8050 tyre marker is designed for permanent marking of tyres and other rubber surfaces, making identification easier during seasonal tyre changes or in workshops, tyre service centres, car dealerships and maintenance operations.
Its round nib, with a 2–4 mm stroke width, produces clear, highly visible writing on dark surfaces such as tyres. The ink is available in white, which provides high visibility on black rubber. According to the official edding page, the marker writes perfectly on all rubber materials and is specifically intended to help avoid confusion when handling summer and winter tyre sets.
The lacquer-finish ink is highly opaque, permanent, waterproof, smudge-proof, quick-drying, wear-resistant and extremely lightfast. The markings are long-lasting indoors and outdoors, maintaining visibility and readability over time. For correct use, edding recommends shaking the marker with the cap on, removing the cap, gently pumping the nib downwards on a piece of scrap paper until the ink fills the nib, and storing the marker horizontally.
